    Wrong Boy

Plot shifts & changes, kept guessing till end. Told by characters from own perspective helped hide outcome.

A Cozy with Too Much Dialogue

The pace of this book was hampered by the paragraphs of dialogue, that neither advanced plot nor revealed character. I don't believe people speak in paragraphs and I know I was warned about run on dialogues in a writing course I took- for good reason I realize, after reading this book. I did plod through it to the end though, but the denouement could have gone in any direction. I don't think there was an organic development of plot or character. The violent actions and obvious psychosis of the villain felt forced but I didn't see it coming and it wasn't satisfying when it did, aside from relief at finally getting to the end. The setting was well done and interesting though.
