Is he the wrong one for her?

He's Not The Wrong Cowboy For Her! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Poor Savannah was brought up and played with the Sloan twin boys - Chandler and Tatum. Chandler is the 'heir' apparent to the family money and Tatum is left to be the playboy cowboy and just the 'spare' to his brother's heir. Tatum is lonely and feels unloved but he is in love, and has been for years, with Savannah. Savannah's father has run off leaving massive debts and her mum is ailing. With medical bills and other bills getting her deeper in debt as she tries to salvage the ranch and her mum's horses. She turns to Chandler and asks if he will marry her to help her save her family home but it can be in name only. But he has issues with an ex so no agreement is agreed upon there and then. One night, after hearing this conversation, Tatum sneaks into Savannah's room and makes wild and passionate love to her pretending to be his brother as he thinks he will never be with her otherwise. But this was a bad move as will Savannah forgive him if and when she finds out?? What is going to happen? Will Chandler agree and marry her? Will Tatum man up and admit his true feelings for Savannah? All this you will find out when you get yourself a copy of this book and read it for yourself. I felt so very sorry for Savannah and her mum as none of this was their fault and her father was a coward to leave them in the lurch like this. As for Tatum?? He needed to grow a backbone and tell her that he loved her before duping her. What had been a beautiful and passionate encounter was ruined when she finds out of his deception. How it will all play out is well worth reading and I do encourage you to read this yourself. RECOMMENDED.

Will bring you to happy tears.

Book 4 for the In the Heart of Texas series by KC Klein starts off at a high-end charity function. Sparks fly in the very first scene but it’s not what you think. Ms. Klein twists the story almost immediately and we’re off for a roller-coaster ride of love, lust, and heartbreak. I especially love that the main female character, Savannah Fitzgerald, is a strong, no nonsense woman doing her very best to keep her family, her home and her business. If you’re looking for a fast read that will bring you to happy tears, this is the book for you.

Tatum turned out to be really sweet.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout, and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I really enjoyed the opening scenes of this book. The heroine, Savannah, is trying to get to town to meet with a corrupt banker to attempt to get an extension on the bank loan that she is behind on, and almost gets swept away in a Texas flash flood and literally gets stuck up in a tree with the hero, Tatum, whom she hates. (To be fair, Tatum pretty much deserves this after he tricks Savannah into thinking that he is his twin brother in order to sleep with her.) What follows is an adorable back and forth tap-dance between the two as they finally work their way into each other's lives. What I liked: Tatum! I'm a sucker for a story line where a guy has harbored a secret crush for years and then finally acts on it. Did I agree with his methods? Nope! But his selfless act late in the story where he gives Savannah the freedom she needs to "find herself" and the freedom she needs to make a choice... that was so sweet. What I didn't like: The writing was a bit choppy, and the segways between sections were rather abrupt at times. The story also jumped around a bit too much from past to present, and sometimes I wasn't sure where the story was. I also felt like there could have been so much more depth given to Savannah's character. The author just barely skimmed over the reasons why Savannah was so awkward with Tatum, and I think that the entire story would have benefitted from a bit more exploration of this. That was really a missed opportunity. I also wish that the author would have had Savannah and Tatum date a bit before deciding that they were going to jump right into getting married. This may be just a story, but I really hate it when an otherwise smart, tough heroine acts like such an impractical airhead. Simply discovering that you love someone doesn't mean that you have to marry them within 5 minutes of that discovery. Overall, this was just an okay read for me. 3 stars.

    Fabulous cowboy story

Savannah is in trouble because of a deal she made when she was a young scared girl. She was only string to keep her family’s business and home. The deal with devil has come to ask for the payment or she’ll lose everything. She turns to her childhood friend Chandler Sloan with a marriage for business only that will benefit them both and save the company her father built. That is until the night his brother decides to play him and pull on over on Savannah and hop in her bed playing Chandler. Savannah is confused and hurt when she learns it’s Chatham and what they expiencenced was amazing. Chatham learns about her proposal to his brother and he’s hurt and furious. The whole thing turns into a mess and they are both hurt. Seems they both have had feelings from long ago about each other. I really enjoyed this book as well as the previous books in this series. Can be read as a stand alone.

    ooops

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Savannah has a lot on her plate, and she has to do things she didn't think she would do, but you do what you have to do. Tatum wants Savannah and he doesn't think he will ever have a chance with her, but he does the unforgivable, he has a hot night with her letting her believe that it is his twin Chandler who was thinking about going into an agreement with her. What happens, well my friends you need to read.. Enjoy!
