  • Loved it!!

I’ve just discovered another author I’d like to read!!! Absolutely Love Ann Mayburn’s version of a Bridgewater Brides Novel!! Loved the “flowing” sensuality of this author’s writing style! Also enjoyed the plot and the believable characters. Well done! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • A Golden Addition to the series

I've been reading the stories in the new Bridgewater Brides series and to date this is the best one by far, which is saying a lot since I've liked them all. I really enjoyed how it started, with "Roger" (Rowan) and how the guys saved him (her). Rowan had lived a hard life and didn't even know how to accept someone wanting to take care of things for her, let alone two someones. I also thought this story the most realistic when it came to the MFM ménage, in that no matter what happens there sometimes might be a little inadvertent interaction of the mm variety. In fact, I could stand to see more of that. :) I also found it interesting to see some other characters who knew of the 2 husbands/1 wife situation that were okay with it even though they weren't directly involved in it. Mrs. Tibbs for example gave Rowan some great advice as she was thinking about her choices when it came to Garrett and Edward. All and all a well rounded story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Amazing!

Oh, I want Edward and Garret in my corner! It takes a little time to realize who Rowan is but when they do, it takes them no time to decide to claim her. I love that Rowan is headstrong, especially in the times they live in. There is some danger and suspense but also the right amount of steam and the relationship develops organically.

  • A great read in the Brigewater spinoff series!

I was a bit hesitant to read this spinoff series of stories by other authors as the original series by Vanessa Vale was so unique and memorable. However when I saw Ann Mayburn was one of the authors I decided to take a chance on her Bridgewater take. I have to say I wasn't disappointed as she did a great job capturing the essence of the series and contributed another enjoyable read for me. Rowan has been abandoned by her brother on their trek to find gold and has been passing as a boy to survive. She has not known much kindness and now being offered assistance and attention by 2 men... scandalous doesn't begin to describe what she feels but she is drawn to what they are offering and her attraction to them is too much to deny!

    Thanks for your feedback!
