  • Heartbroken

I must say I enjoyed this story i couldn't stop reading it the friendship that blossomed which turned into a love story like romeo and Juilet with a tragic end which just had me crying all the way to the end , I was so hoping that Rufus and Mateo would get their happy ending even though the title makes it clear that it's not that kinda of story , this story really makes you think not to take anything for granted In life tell everyone who you care about how much you love them and live your dreams .

  • I Cried So Hard

Of course the title gives the ending to the novel away, but it doesn't prepare you properly. Instantly, Adam Silvera sweeps you up into the lives of the characters and doesn't let you go. Even after I had finished reading I continually thought back to the way the characters lives were controlled by Death. And how they tried to make the best out of their last day on earth. If you have the chance to read this book you should take it.

  • they both die at the end

I've never read anything from Adam Silvera before, I just picked this up in the store because I thought the title was funny. I actually really loved it. Mateo and Rufus turned out as really great characters, even though I didn't love Rufus right from the start. Though the concept is a bit depressing, there were some parts that were still really funny, (whoa! did you know that?) and the ending, especially the last two pages, was brilliant. Even though the title makes it obvious, the end still manages to sneak up on you. Overall I thought it was great, and if you read this, read the very end of the acknoledgements if not all of them.
