  • A good read - will keep you interested to the end!

The book follows a character, Dan Taylor, who works for a government agency and was already introduced in two earlier books. Though it’s not necessary to have read previous books, knowing Dan’s background a little does maybe give the reader a better understanding. Dan & his reporter friend Sarah are thrown into an exciting, deadly investigation into an international theft. The pace of the story is fast, every chapter leading directly into the action of the next. The topic is scary but also unfortunately quite credible for today’s world. This makes the tale gripping. Even the villains are believable, as we get some insight into their warped thinking. The end of the book seemed to pull together some big themes - perhaps too much. There was consequently a lot of explanation given by the characters. At times I was left wondering who were the good guys anyway? The climax, as such, seemed a little convoluted and perhaps deliberately contrived to ensure that Dan will live to star in a sequel? I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a light but credible adventure story, with some fast paced excitement, a bit of romance, but not too much, about a current potentially threatening topic. I was fortunate to receive an ARC copy from the author for review.

  • Blurred lines

A lot of plot twists to keep you reading, but the good guys aren't all good and the bad guys are all bad! The lines between doing what's best for the public good and personal greed and power blur. It's an exciting read.

  • A great read none stop action

A great read with twists and turns all the way through, the author has a great knowledge of the English security and political aspects. Which in turn makes it a believable story. I loved it
