    Thanks for your feedback!

    Emotionally satisfying and quite enjoyable

Robin Reardon's Throwing Stones is as wonderful as I hoped. Using the setting of a typical rural community, with added bonus of a marginalized segment of the community, AND a gay teen coming to terms with his sexuality, the author tells the story of the clash of cultures, preconceived notions about the "OTHER" and learning to understand those you don't understand. As is usual in these coming of age stories, the drama builds and resolves using both the main character's sexuality and the tension between the Christian and Pagan communities to show how similar we all are, and to bring people together through common bonds.
