  • 4 Star Tigress

Raz escaped the cage she been in her whole life only to find herself tenderly trapped between the Alpha and the Beta of the North Woods pack. Readers can’t help but become completely engrossed in this decadent and gripping shifter romance with strong, vivid characters and a fascinating love. The relationship is full of depth and lots of emotional turmoil that makes it easy for readers to connect with them and understand their motivations and the passion is sinfully decadent and full of sizzling chemistry and scorching passion. The plot is fast paced and flows smoothly throughout the story with some thrilling suspense and excitement when others show up, claiming that Raz belongs to them and when Raz learns some astonishing news about herself. The intriguing, exotic world and the wonderful characters is well developed and has some erotic twist that makes this world even hotter and more exhilarating, although this story is a little on the short side and has an overall series story arc that has readers impatiently awaiting to find out what happens next.

  • Inspiring

Seeing the transformation of Raz from being kept in a cage to matriarch was inspiring.

  • Escape but Little Freedom

Caged her whole life, Bengal tiger shifter Raz escapes and runs for her life. But as she nears the North Woods wolf pack lands, she hears wolf pups in distress as they are being tormented by hyenas. Stopping in her desperate running from her pursuers, she saves the pups, only to be injured by the hyenas and taken by the Alpha and Beta the pack who claim her as their mate. There was actually very little excitement or adventure in this story in contrast to her having been caged for so much of her life. I expected to see cause-and-effect of her captivity. But Raz escapes, runs, protects, then is captured again and mated. The End. More development of the characters would have helped. I just got the feeling that the story was rushed. (The book's cover is gorgeous, by the way. Good choice!)

  • Good story

This is the story of Raz who was raised in a cage. She finally escapes her terrible life when she hears the cries of wolf pups. She finds they are being attacked by hyenas and rescues two of them. Suddenly an Alpha and Beta wolf appear to fight off the hyenas surrounding Raz and they realize she is badly injured and also their mate. Will she survive? I enjoyed this romance. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
