  • Devney at her best!

It seems like I say this with every new release from Devney Perry, but this REALLY is her best book to date. Emmet and Nova are magic together and this book is everything a romance should be. Ms. Perry delivers a beautiful love story full of heart and heat with enough twists to keep you guessing. Tin Queen is the final story in the Tin Gypsy series and while the stories all stand on their own, it’s best to read the whole series as you don’t want to miss a single word.

  • An amazing ending to a fantastic series!

Tin Queen is the perfect story to end the Tin Gypsy series. I absolutely adore Clifton Forge and all of the amazing characters Devney Perry created in this world. I am so unbelievably sad that the series is over, but so glad I got to go on this journey with all the characters in the Tin Gypsy world. Emmett and Nova are absolutely perfect for one another and they were the perfect couple to end this epic series with. Devney Perry is a master at weaving a world of mystery, suspense, epic romance, forgiveness, acceptance, and amazing family dynamics. Readers will not be disappointed in the last installment of this amazing series. June “Nova” Talbot is set on the path of obtaining vengeance for her father and brother. She is set on stopping a war between two motorcycle gangs by taking down one of them and using herself as bait. Nova is a little bit of a lost soul. She has grown up desperately wanted acceptance from her father. She just wants him to love her, to chose her over the Warriors. She wants him to love her, her sister, and their mother over everything else in his life. Unfortunately, Tucker Talbot isn’t capable of that and it takes a lot of pain and heartache for Nova to realize that. For her to realize that she is an amazing person worthy of love with no strings or conditions attached to it. Nova is a fierce, confident, intelligent, high heel loving woman who can do anything she sets her mind to. It just took her a long time to see that. There were times I wanted to shake her and ask “what are you doing?!” But she turned it around and figured out that there is so much more to life than winning her father’s approval. That approval of herself and who she is as a person is so much more important and valuable. I truly enjoyed reading about her journey of self discovery and acceptance. I loved Nova’s character. Emmett Stone is a man on a mission to reinvent himself. He wants people to remember him for who he is now instead of who he was as a member of the Tin Gypsy Motorcycle Gang. He’s built a life for himself as a mechanic and a property owner. He has his brothers and their families and his mother. He’s content with his life until Nova comes barreling in it. He doesn’t think he wants a long term relationship, but the more time he spends with Nova, the more he thinks he is wrong. Emmett is an amazing male lead character. I adored everything about him. He’s honest, kind, thoughtful, playful, hot, and an all around good man (minus a few transgressions lol). I could not get enough of this man. I also didn’t know that a man with a beard and shoulder length hair could be so darn attractive! My favorite chapters were told from Emmett’s point of view. I could not get enough of this man! Nova and Emmett are absolute fire together! The chemistry is off the charts with these two. I could not get enough of them and they certainly couldn’t get enough of each other! The physical chemistry between Emmett and Nova was insane, but so was the emotional connection. They were constantly building one another up and encouraging the other to be whatever they wanted to be in life. It was refreshing to read. Emmett and Nova leaned on one another when they had an off day and truly enjoyed the other’s company. It started out as a ruse for Nova so she could use Emmett in her master plan, but she realized quickly that he truly was a good man and she fell in love with him. Neither one could help themselves. They had a lot of history together that they didn’t even know about and struggled to work through it. It was worth it in the end though. Those struggles and heartaches led them to one another and a pretty epic love. I absolutely adored these two together. They are tied with Genevieve and Isaiah as my favorite couple of this series. I loved them so much! Overall, I rate this story a 5/5! Tin Queen is the the best story to end the Tin Gypsy series with. Emmett and Nova have such fire and passion for one another and I could not get enough of them. Tin Queen tied up a lot of loose ends and gave many characters closure. I am so sad to see this series end, but I am very happy that I got to go on this journey with the people of Clifton Forge. I adored every one of the stories and I am so happy everyone got their happy endings. Well done, Ms Perry. Well done.

  • Total Anxiety, But In A Good Way!

Tin Queen, the final installment of Devney Perry’s Tin Gypsy series, grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go from start to finish. I seriously had secondhand anxiety throughout the entirety of the book for both characters, Nova and Emmett. The twist and turns, duplicity, lies, and anger that morphs into attraction, lust and finally love had me turning the pages as quickly as I could to see what would happen next. Devney closed out this series with such a bang! A completely phenomenal read! 5 stars!

  • 4.5 Bittersweet but perfect ending stars

4.5 bittersweet stars! I'm so in my feels with this series ending, but what a fantastic ride! Enemies to lovers (for real!) ✔ Great world building ✔ 🔥 chemistry ✔ Plot twists ✔ Complex characters ✔ Tin Queen is the last book on the Tin Gypsies series and It's been quite a ride. This last book gives our resident bachelor and favorite hacker, Emmett's story. He wasn't thinking about settling down, he was plenty happy with his life and seeing his brother's settle down into happy family men. But even so he was always on the lookout with the constant threat the Arrowheads and Tucker Talbot meant to him and his family. Then enters Nova to literally turn his carefully crafted world upside down. Nova Talbot just happens to be the secret princess to the Arrowhead Warrios and non other than Tucker Talbots daughter and boy does she have it in for the Gypsies, specifically for Emmett. She's determined to get revenge on her family and make the father she desperately wants validation from, proud. At this point we all love the Gypsies, we know they aren't about that life anymore. They are good and loyal men to us, so it might take us a bit to like and trust Nova. Her character is so complex, there's many layers to who she's been made to be and the persona she's carefully crafted. She's always been pulled in different directions and she never expected to actually like Emmett and for the fundamental things she's believed her whole life to be lies. But trust me when I say that her character development is worth it. This story is full of emotinal range. It will make you giddy with excitement, then frustrate you, then make you feel all flustered becuase their spice level is off the charts, then break your heart and frustrate you all over again and finally it will pick all of those emotions up to build a perfect and satisfying ending. May we all feel as free in our life's as Nova did on the back of Emmett's bike. Live to ride. Wonder Free!!!!
