Nice Romance For An Afternoon Diversion!

To Catch a Lady the first book in Pamela Labud's Hunt Club series leads her hero and hero on a rocky road to find love. A strong physical draw sets the stage for the leads in this work to do everything possible to not submit to their attraction and embark on a game of emotional catch and release. With a war of words and eccentric supporting cast this story had some hilarious and heartbreaking moments. This novel was a nice way to spend an afternoon and share in the triumph of love. *I received this ARC via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.*

... a little wicked but a whole lot of marvelous.

I am a regular reader of romance. Enjoy reading contemporary and historical but my personal preference has always been historical. The spectacular parties where anything can happen, the chance of finding adventure and romance around every corner. The breathtaking characters that are shrouded in mystery or desperation. I just loved it. I received an ARC of To Catch a Lady in exchange for an honest review. Caroline is the type of character I love to read about. She is not worried about what her peers think of her but, she wants to make a difference in the world. Ashton is a charmer that has the looks, title and the obligations of a nobleman but prefers a more carefree existence. The makeup of this story reminded me so much of the Catherine Maxwell stories I used to read as a teen. Ashton and Caroline's transformation into a couple was a little bit frustration, a little wicked but a whole lot of marvelous.
