    Fun read

I REALLY enjoyed this book! It's not your typical MC read so if you're looking for raw and gritty pass on by. If you're looking for a fun, humorous, romantic story this is the book for you. It had me laughing out loud picturing the tough alpha bikers dealing with all the things that make a wedding come together. There are some truly great characters and the writing is excellent. I'm hoping there is more of these wedding planner bikers in the future. If you're looking for a fun, relaxing read bring your sense of humor and give this one a try. I highly recommend it.

    Enjoyable MC rom com

When I saw the blurb for this book I said to myself that I have to read this book and I did. It is a long time since I've read a book about MC and their members. It was a good read that kept me reading and reading until the middle of the night. It was entertaining to read all the twists and turns in this rollercoaster of a book. Great mix of romantic comedy and some serious family dealings. Really enjoyable!

I wanted to like it but just couldn't

Sadly, I'm going to have to pass on this for now but I might consider coming back to it again one day. I just couldn't get into the story which is sad because I loved the set up for the book. However, I found the writing to be a bit repetitive and there was just something missing from the flow. I also felt like Bethany went back and forth between thinking Trey was a "scum-sucking con artist" to a super sexy guy so much that I was about to get whiplash. Bethany's family is also way too over the top and it didn't fit the tone the rest of the story had. And I about lost it when Trey started calling Bethany "Strong Girl" as her nickname. Just no. I'm so over every romance having the hero come up with a nickname for the heroine, especially when they're not even a good nickname. Overall, there were just too many little nit picky things that got on my nerves and made it hard to keep going.

This book was entertaining and hard to put down

4 Stars Review by Nancy Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog To Have and to Harley is definitely an interesting take on a biker book, it is the first book in the Bikers & Brides series by Regina Cole. A laugh out loud, feel good romance, with a little angst and a lot of deceit. When one little lie turns into a whirlwind of deception, we get a very interesting story. Put in a difficult situation, afraid to disappoint his new found family, Trey lies. For the first time in a long time Trey was ashamed to be the leader of an MC and couldn’t tell his mother he was a criminal. He was caught off guard and blurted the first thing that came to mind, courtesy of the magazine he was looking at, he was a wedding planner. Before he knew it, he was hired to plan his sister's wedding. Bethany knew the moment she laid eyes on Trey, that he was deceitful. Trying to protect the only family she knows, she is determined to catch him in his lies, but she had him all wrong. The last thing she expected was to fall in love with the biker passing as a wedding planner. This book was entertaining and hard to put down. Despite the fact that it was very different than any MC book I’ve read, I found myself enjoying it immensely. A fun read with just enough angst to keep you wanting more. Cole gave us an interesting plot with some intriguing characters. I loved that she also gave us some very lovable secondary characters. She set this book up to be the perfect start to a great series. I’m excited to see what we will be getting next.

    A funny, light-hearted MC romance

This is a new to me author, and also first in the series, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. I love MC books, and the blurb sounded interesting, so I decided to take a chance. Trey is a self proclaimed modern day Robin Hood. He and his "band of merry men" (MC brothers) are thugs that only target bad guys. At the beginning of the story, he is a tough guy. But when he meets the other characters, his entire demeanor changes. He begins a complicated lie that quickly gets out of hand. Bethany Jernigan is a woman alone. She has no family, except for her best friend's family, who she would do anything for. When her best friend asks for a favor, Bethany doesn't hesitate. She quickly agrees. She has no idea what she is getting in the middle of! From the very beginning, this book seems to be a comedy of errors. Anything that can go wrong, does. While the story is different than most MC stories, I had a hard time connecting with the characters, and a difficult time staying interested in the book itself. Although it was a well written book and funny as all get out, it was not very believable. This story would be great for someone looking for a light-hearted, funny story, but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for.
