  • To Kill a Mockingbird

This was way better than I remembered. I believe that finally reading this book at my age made it even more rewarding. Young people read this book and most likely identify with Scout or Jem, but in my case I thought Atticus was an unforgettable character! Now I want to watch the movie. Do yourselves a favor and read this book! It is wonderful!

  • A book you'll read again and again

I have read this book over a hundred times since the first time in high school. It's a book that everyone should read. Every time I have read it it had taught me something new about how we look at humanity. You can identify with any of the characters and as Atticus said "walk around in their skin". One of the best books of all time.

  • To Kill a Mockingbird

Loved it. Both comical with serious thought provoking issus that plagued the southern communities in the 1930's. Ashamed to admit I was supposed to read this book in high school, but did not. I am ready to read it again.

  • A brilliant test of Time

This is such a a wonderful novel. A true classic. I never read it as a child and always wanted to but never got around to it until now. Harper Lee takes you back to that time of racial unrest and how it was growing up in the middle of all that. A true pleasure to read.

  • Recommended reading for everyone

The first time I read this book in high school, my English teacher asked us to write what we think happened between Jem losing his pants in the fence until he went back and found them folded neatly over the top rail. Since then, the story stuck with me and continues to year after year. Reading it again this last week brought out other subtleties that I had forgotten in the first reading. I treasure my childhood memories as I read this story and remember some of the antics that I got into as a child. To Kill a Mockingbird is one of those stories that stick with you much longer than you expect, but in a good way. I would recommend this book to anyone and if it isn't required reading in school, it should be. I plan on passing my copy down to my descendants and making sure it is required reading for them.

    Thanks for your feedback!
