I am at work and the tenants and visitors must have thought I was a crazy , lunatic my emotions were all over the place one minute I was in tears the next I am laughing ,angry or overwhelmingly sad . I literally forgot I was reading a book Dustin,s death hit me real hard. I cried for a young man so full of life but would not get the chance to fulfill all his dreams . I cried for Eve who lost the love of her life and I was angry at the writer for allowing Dustin to die But I just could not put the book down I am crazy about Jeff he as my heart completely fictional though he is if all the men in the world was like him we women would be in love heaven .I want to strangle his mom how can she be so cold towards her son it was never his will to hurt his dad or brother nor was it fault her career took a dive if she didn't want more children use protection oh boy I really am crazy seems as I if I think the characters are real. I am glad Jeff found love with Lisa and both found the strength through god to hang through the rough times and oh man you made me cry with the Reagan scenes and when Parkerwanted to take his life then when Jeff kept his promise to Reagan those scenes were deep. I am going to read this book again it as captured my heart and my imagination.I olso enjoyed all the firemen especially Dante, Gabe and the emergency guy A J Mrs Stalling thank you for a thoughtful, well written book you have a God given talent

I enjoyed Staci Stallings book and the way she describes the work of fire fighters and their challenges they face along with dangers. This story had me crying along with Jeff and Lisa. I look forward to reading the next novel

    The Courage Series #1

I enjoyed this novel that not only was enjoyable reading, but also taught a few life lessons including the value of true friendship, love and the need for faith in ourselves, others and the Lord.

    Hard to put down.

Christian books can become so staid and boring, I'm thrilled to have discovered an author whose storytelling keeps me glued to the pages.
