    To win a mate

I found the story line a little one sided, would like to have known more about her than what was discussed. Also I found the book to be to short and quick for the price of the book. It was more like a novella than a full book, a little disappointing.

Love is just around the corner when least expected

I found this book to be utterly romantic and humorous. As well as everything you can expect from a Somewhere, TX story; which is to say hot, loving sex. The hero hopes to find his mate one day, but never expects to find her at a benefit event. The heroine thinks she's the only wolf shifter in the world, and discovering she isn't opens the door to a life she's never imagined. Read this delightful story of finding life and a forever love.

    Winning more than an auction...

I received an ARC from the author, in exchange for an honest review. What an amazing story 'To Win a Mate' was, I started reading it & soon found myself at the send. I was so enthralled with the story that it was over too soon. I highly recommend that you read the "Somewhere, TX: VonBrandt Family" series in order, you don't have to, but it makes everything better if you do. Jared isn't looking for a mate, but attending a charity auction away from home, Jared captures a scent & soon finds out who it belongs to. Elise has never smelt another wolf before, she's always been alone, keeping her wolf a secret.... Just the start of the story was enough to draw me in & then you keep reading, enthralled for the duration of the entire story. I'm hoping this isn't the end of the "VonBrandt Family"... I want more.

    To Win a Mate

This was a very cute (but very short) novella. Jared is not looking for love or romance we he sets eyes on Elise at an auction. Elise isn't expected to find someone like her - ever. She thinks she's the only werewolf - I found this to be slightly far fetched, but set up the story in a way that really let Jared and Elise bond quickly. This is an important thing in a short novella. Short - maybe too short. Things moved super fast and while both characters were cute, I really didn't have a chance to fall in love with them. I liked them, they had depth, and they both grew and developed - I just wanted to feel more from them. The ending was very sweet and I hope we get a chance to see the couple in the next book. I'd love to get to know them a little better - they sound like they would be a ton of fun. *This book was received in exchange for an honest review*
