    fun, fast and heartfelt read

Just like with To Win Her Love, Crowne delivers a fun, fast, and heartfelt read. Tuck is just as entertaining as he was in the first story. And just like I hoped, he meets his match is CC. She does have hangups, completely understandable ones given her past, but Tuck is definitely not easy to ignore. And you have to love that about him! We’re given CC’s history in bits but it makes you value her strength and heart all the more as she works thru her issues with Tuck’s help. Together they are so amazingly sweet and funny and sexy. I think my favorite part is that there isn’t a huge amount of drama. Everything flows so well and so realistically, and the issues that arise just made sense. Returning readers will be thrilled to see glimpses of Jack & Gracie and their family, plus we are given a look at some possible future stories which is always fun. And while I think you need to have read the first book to have the chance to get the full Tucker treatment, this can definitely be read on its own. With two main characters who have a fun sense of humor and big heart (and in Tuck’s case a big ego), To Win Her Trust just proves that Crowne is one to watch. I can’t wait to see what she brings us next. (Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review)

    Sweet Romance!

This is the first book I have read by Mackenzie Crowne and I thoroughly enjoyed this charming story. This is the second stand-alone book in the Players series and it is a lighthearted story with engaging characters. This story centers on CC Calhoun, a shy woman who is uncomfortable around men and has panic attacks whenever she is in a large group of people. She has never dated and has a low opinion of men, due to her inconsiderate rock star father. She has learned to live her life without getting into situations that will cause a panic attack but she is ready to make some changes and try to live a normal life. CC asks Kevin “Tuck” Tucker to help her with her issues. Tuck is an NFL football player content with his life as a fun loving womanizer. However, once he meets CC, there is something about her that keeps pulling him to her, he want to protect her and help her learn to control her fears. He has never felt this way before and his strong feelings for CC surprise him. Tuck is easy to like, he is thoughtful and kind to CC and an exciting guy to be around. Tuck helps CC lighten up and enjoy life and in turn, CC helps Tuck see women as more than just a romp in the sack. As Tuck and CC spend more time together, they form a strong bond. Tuck is charismatic and CC enjoys spending time with him, but she realizes she has to hold on to heart, because Tuck is not a one woman guy. She knows Tuck has everything going for him and she is a mess. I love that Tuck takes the time to get to know CC and truly wants to help her. CC doesn’t realize her worth; she has a lot going for her, she just needs more confidence. This is a cute, sweet story with a lot of chemistry between Tuck and CC. Although CC does have some issues, there is not a lot of angst in this entertaining story.

    To Win Her Trust

Ok, I’ll admit, the initial premise that has these two main characters coming together made me cringe. I mean, honestly, who does that? But Crowne really made it work for this story. The plot was fun & upbeat. The descriptions were apt without being too obvious. Crowne allows romance to shine through without becoming too cheesy or clichéd. I enjoyed getting back with characters that we had a sneak peak at in the 1st novel of the series, as well as getting to know the new individuals that Crowne introduces us to. Her character development let me get up close and personal without giving too much away. This novel was definitely a lot of fun for me to read. It could easily be read on its own or as part of this interesting series. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

    Amazing

This is the second book in this series and I totally employed this one as much as the first book. Teaser at the end of this boom has me hooked for the 3rd book. Kevin Tucker total playboy meets his match with CC a woman who is trying to overcome a horrific tragic event in her past. Her and Kevin meet accidently and the rest is history. They battle over CC fears and Kevin's commitment issues. Pick this book up you won't be sorry
