    Loved it

Loved, Loved, Loved!! All the yumminess that is Zack Blackburn makes this a great read. Add in the banter, humor, and the amazing character of Fallon and you have a story you won't soon forget! Originally Fallon is just doing a favor for a friend by helping Zack get healthy again. Then she finds herself caught up in a fan frenzy as Harbor City dubs her Zack's Lady Luck! All the characters in this series are fun with lots of sass and snark. They feel like people you want to call friends. Each of these books has interconnected characters but each can easily be read standalone. I definitely recommend this one. It's a must read.

    Love the Hartigans

The Hartigans I am so in love with this series! And I have to honestly say, at this point Avery could publish her grocery list and I would devour it like it was my last meal. Tomboy is the story of Fallon Hartigan and Zack Blackburn.  We got a small taste of them in Muffin Top and I knew I was gonna love on both these characters hard. Fallon is unapologetically a tomboy, and I love that about her.  With the large, loud Irish family she has, it has made her strong, independent and a fighter of those that are wronged.  But that urge to fight can also become a downfall. Sometimes blind fury at some injustice can come back to bite you in the backside. Zack has the world fooled with his alphahole behavior. The most hated man in Harbor City, oh pahleeze! We find out that because of the ultimate betrayal, Zack has learned to build wall high, wide and deep around him. But with meeting Fallon, the walls slowly start getting chipped away. As with all of Avery's stories, the humor is amazing, the world she creates in Harbor City is stellar and the chemistry between Zack and his Lady Luck is electric! Avery is definitely a "one-click" author for me and I cannot wait to see what she writes next! Oh and in closing, I will say I am am totally #TeamZuck!!

Sexy, sassy, funny and hot! - Fantastic read!

Fallon in this book is what I expected her to be when I was reading the first two books in the series. She's strong, sassy, independent and protective of people she love. She will do everything for her friends and family but also has big heart for the people in need in general. Zach who has trust issues isolated himself from the people around him. Trying to keep his pride intact is very closed off and has put a mask on so that his true self is deeply covered. I enjoyed reading this book a lot and I devoured it in one sitting. Story line has all the feels and because of the fantastic writing I was able to picture every single scene in the book and easily connect to the characters and feel what they felt. They stole my heart from the beginning even Zach or maybe especially him... Chemistry and sexual tension between them is almost palpable. Their banter is funny, sassy and I just couldn't stop smiling reading their lines. There's also more to their relationship beside hot lustful connection. Unexpected turn in events put their relationship in question. It is not easy to trust someone when we were betrayed before. Will those two stubborn people be able to box their pride and put it away? Are they ready to admit their relationship is worth fighting for and act on it?

    5 Blackburn-ed stars

Tomboy is the latest offering in ‘The Hartigans’ series by Avery Flynn. It was a fabulous story that delved deep into the heart of one NHL player, star forward, Zach Blackburn and the strongest-willed Hartigan offspring, Fallon. Fallon is as straight-talking as they come, her ‘take no prisoners’ attitude rubs Zach the wrong way… at first, but it’s not long before he’s seeing her in a different light. She's a fresh light in his dismal, doom-laden mind. He’s got a past that he can’t shake and it’s turned the game he loved into a chore, something that shows when he plays. He’s not known as the most hated player in Harbor City for nothing. So, when Fallon’s best friend, Lucy asks her to be Zack’s nurse for the weekend, she’s less than interested, but she’s a caring soul and can’t say no to her bestie’s heartfelt pleas. Zack and Fallon are like oil and water, they shouldn’t mix but somehow they do. This was a fun, slightly angsty story, with plenty of feels. Seeing Fallon break through Zack’s walls, even when she’s not meaning to, was enlightening but also heartbreaking. Zack is broody, dark and at times mysterious but he’s darned hot too, so hot that Fallon just can’t resist him and is soon his lucky charm. This was the best of the three books out so far, it’s a standalone too, so you don’t have to read Butterface or Muffin Top first, but you should anyway because they are that good. Looking forward to the next in the series that keeps me wanting more.

    Sweet read

This is the third book in The Hartigans series. I truly enjoyed this romatic comedy between Zach and Fallon. It was easy to read and entertaining. It was a well written story.
