Another Epic Grand Slam! Sexy on 10!

Armentrout always delivers these epic dark fantasies that are scorching hot to the touch and this book is no different. The sequel to the sexy Wicked Saga, Torn picks up where the first book left off and sets things on fire. Ivy Morgan, realizes that her very identity I'd in question and this new revelation could very well get her killed or worse, destroy the world. While trying to prevent her enemies from slowly extinguishing the human race, she'll have to keep secrets from her closest friends and escape from a creature that needs her to fulfill his master plan. Ivy learns that her war isn't as black and white as she believed and the journey of discovery and ancient knowledge will either be her saving grace or leave her Torn. The story really had me on edge this time around because we really got to see a lot more of Ivy's inner strength and learn that she is Damon near unbreakable. Ivy gets a lot of stones thrown at her in this book and I really loved that her character was honest in her feelings (even when they went against her best interests) but had more than enough metal to be a fighter in some pretty gruesome situation. I could also see where those situations she was in could translate to tragedies that a reader could see in the real world even with the fantasy/magic edge. This shaping into a beautifully written saga with witty dialogue, epic plot twists, angst that will have you on edge and enough sexy romance to set you a blaze. So ready for the next book!

Wow! Put me through the emotional wringer!

Wow! Ms Armentrout is an amazing writer! She certainly knows how to draw me into the character's lives and I felt that I was living through it all with Ivy. This book put me through the emotional wringer - it made me cry sad and happy tears and kept me thinking about Ivy and Ren well into the night, long after I had finished this book. I don't know how I am going to last until the next book, but I do know that this one definitely made my 'to be read again' list.

Ren and Tink are the best!

4.5☆ I've been impatiently waiting for this book to come out and it definitely did not disappoint! I liked this one a bit more than Wicked. This one is a bit more intense and I enjoyed that. I love the characters and how they handle everything that is thrown at them. Ren and Tink's relationship is the best! They are absolutely hilarious and I love them! I also loved the many pop culture references in this book, it makes me smile. I'm a bit sad that there is only one more book left in the series, but I can't wait for it once again; I know it'll be wonderful as always =)

    Torn Review

I really liked this sequel. I liked seeing how strong Ivy was and even with everything that happened with her while maybe a little more damaged she is not destroyed. Tink is like my favorite character so freaking hilarious. I got a little annoyed at Ren, but he fixed it! The Prince was an excellent villain. Although the pacing at the beginning was a little slow the rest made up for it. My one complaint is I felt like there was too much name dropping going on. I can't wait for book 3!
