  • Torn in Two

'Torn in Two' is the second book in Anya Summers' "The Manor" series. If you've read the blurb then you now know there is more than just Maximillian and his staff in the manor. All this time Prue thought she was developing feelings for a man with multiple personality quirks until the man in the mask came upon them in the library. She's shattered, in shock, and can't find a way of reconciling her feelings for not one man but two!! The men, in their infinite wisdom (eye roll here), decided they would share alternate days with Prue for two weeks giving each man an opportunity to woo her, and then she needs to make a decision about whom she wants to be with. Anya Summers has delivered such an intense, suspense-filled, emotional rollercoaster that is nicely wrapped in a BDSM experience. The characters each have so much passion and heart it's impossible not to relate to what each of them are feeling and going through. These books should be read in the order they were written with the knowledge book two ends in a cliffhanger as well. I read previously the third book is to be released in early February so there's not too long to wait in order to find out what ultimately happens. Truthfully, I think Anya Summers gets better with each series she writes. I can't wait.

  • Second In The Manor Series

Prue is studying the journal of Ulysses S. Grant's early years while staying at Bremly Manor. Maximillian Donovan is the eccentric billionaire who owns the manor and the library that houses the collection. She has been sleeping with Max, and who she thought was Max, but is a second man. Prue is not a worldly woman. She is a grad student who has spent many Friday nights alone with her nose buried in a book. She has fallen for both men, and now they want her to choose. They propose spending the next two weeks wooing her, but the more time goes by, the harder it is to choose between them. They are so different. They teach her that she is a submissive in the bedroom, and both want to be her Dominant. Max and Cam are angry when she tells them that she loves them both, but cannot choose. She spends her days continuing to study the journal, and her nights in bliss with her men. She finally decides the only solution is to leave. The story picks up right where the first one left off, and ends on a cliffhanger. It is a very angsty story, and there doesn't seem to be a resolution that won't leave any of them hurt. The sex scenes are hot, and the story really drew me in. Now to wait for the third and final book! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Loving The Manor series!

I love how Prue struggles to discover how she feels for both Max and Cam as they individually spend time with her. But more how both Max and Cam seemingly jump the gun on her decision. Yet when Prue becomes overwhelmed by the two, they seemingly make the decision for her, much to Prue's chagrin. I can't wait to see where the next book takes Prue and her dynamic duo!

*** Free book for an honest review *** This is the second book in the series. You definitely need to read the first book to really in joy this one. The book carries on with Prue now having to make a choice between the Cam and Max. You will enjoy the hot scenes that the boys contrive to get her to chose. The ending is a definite unexpected please even if the book does leave you with a cliff hanger. *** Free book for an honest review ***
