    Evil minds connect

This was a great read and a good follow up to Sordid. I loved loved Sordid because it really pulled on your emotions. This book is less about emotion and more about how two like-minded people can still find each other even when the world sees them as incapable of love or true emotion for another person. Good job Nikki making the dark dark relatable.

A daring and wildly erotic mafia romance

Once again, I was completely seduced by Nikki’s potent spell of sexy dark magic. She conjured up a story overflowing with her unique brand of sex, sin and secrets. If you're looking for something sweet and fun, full of heart warming feels, keep looking. This isn’t your book. If you are looking for a book that pushes boundaries and makes you a little uncomfortable while driving you wild, you've found it! Vasilije is NOT going to win any "sweetest book boyfriend" contests. He might, however, win the contest for "Biggest Jerk Anti-Hero". Despite that, he stared to grow on me. Eventually. After about 100 virtual slaps upside the head. While technically Torrid is a standalone, I highly recommend reading Sordid first. Like Torrid, it is also dark and edgy and a little bit controversial. I really wish I would have had time for a re-read of Sordid to refresh my memory on some of the events. Vasilije is a secondary character in Torrid. He is the brother of Luka, who is the Hero (or again, anti-hero) of the story. You'll have a much better appreciation and understanding of Vasilije if you have read Sordid first. Here's the thing I love the most about Nikki's books. Not only are they some of the hottest and most erotic books around, but I always find something unique and special about the sexy times. Her special brand of erotic always includes something a little bit different or something you aren't expecting. I always think I've read it all, until I open a Nikki Sloane book and find myself thinking, "Oh! I've never seen it written quite like that before!" It makes me a little bit giddy to be honest. If you are a dark romance fan, I highly recommend you one-click this daring and wildly erotic mafia romance.

    WOW! Excellent read!

Torrid was fantastic... even better than Sordid! I love how Nikki creates believable and sometimes lovable characters! I am really hoping that there is a followup in this series
