    Sweet powderpuff dragon

    R. Cooper once more presents us with a wonderful story of love. Zarrin's need to be recognized, and his hope to be accepted and beneficial to the small town he oversees is sweet and frequently had me misty eyed. Joe's slow realization that Zarrin is more than an arrogant dragon is beautiful to watch. The disconnect between a dragon's understanding and a human's is heart-wrenching at times. It builds silent misunderstandings that hurt the relationship, both between Zarrin and Joe, and between Zarrin and his town. Zarrin is such a sweet person, desperate to be a proper dragon while also being true to himself. In the flow the Being(s) Falling in Love series, Treasure for Treasure is a solid addition to the universe. It's great to read more about the exotic dragons. I love seeing their hoards, and knowing that not all treasure is gold. Sometimes, it's a sugar packet, the first sign of a softening from an important person.

    This made my heart ache.

This is a fabulous romance. A treasure full of desire and courage and misunderstandings that are overcome to the betterment of all.
