    OK read

I must say that this one wasn't for me, which was disappointing because I really enjoyed other books from this author. I found this one just a bit silly for my taste. It was though, very well written and had a cast of crazy characters that I couldn't help chuckling over. If you enjoy your romance on the super sweet and silly side, you'll enjoy this book.

    fun small-town read

Trouble When You Walked In is a fun, humorous, and sweet small-town read (which is one of my favorite kinds of books). I love the quirkiness, the closeness, and how involved everyone is with everyone else. It makes me crave a different way of life, even one full of nosy busybodies. Boone is the can’t-do-wrong golden child – he’s nice, cares about the town and its people. He’s the guy that men want to be and women just want. But he’s also juggling a lot of expectations, especially from his parents, and hiding a pretty big secret that is keeping him from acting on his attraction to the pretty little librarian … the one who has a lot of spunk hiding behind her tweed skirts. Cissie usually fades into the background but she isn’t going to back down when her library is threatened. If it means going against Boone in the mayor’s race then she will do exactly that, regardless of how sexy she finds him. Watching these two dance around their differences and their attraction – butting heads and sneaking kisses – is a riot. I laughed and sighed and turned pages as quickly as I could and I can’t wait to see what else Kramer brings us from Kettle Knob. (Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review)

    A Fun Small Town Romance

A fun, laugh out loud romance in small town North Carolina. the main characters are Cissie, the town librarian and Boone, football coach, mayor of the town. Both are running for the new mayor, they have their differences but can they fight off their sizzling chemistry. Loved the secondary characters and all the craziness of the the town. Well developed characters. Kieran brings her true Southern dialog and sassiness to her story telling. I highly recommend this book for a fun summer read.

Just read it, you will never regret it!

Read it. Fabulous, fantastic, intelligent, clever. Kieran Kramer has never written better. Do yourself a favour and grab this book as soon as you can, you will never regret it. It's brilliant, and forget any idea you might have about a story about a librarian and a hot mayor! Genius!

    A feel good read.

Trouble When You Walked In is a feel good read. Kieran Kramer created a well written read that combines the small town feel with big city problems. I found this novel to be amusing and touching. I had a wonderful time reading about Cissie and Boone. Each time I thought I could not laugh any harder, I was proven wrong. Cissie and Boone's quests to get the best of each other was funny, sexy and captivating. I love finding new authors to read. Thanks to NetGalley, St. Martin's Press and Kieran Kramer- I have stumbled on a great new one. I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review.
