Stunning! And OH so much more!

Can I just say, this isn’t fair that Kennedy Fox keeps giving us these men that you want to hoard for yourself? They just getting more and more amazing. Mason is amazing and more. What was a sizzling one night stand, or so they thought, turns into a roller coaster of emotions as these two trying to navigate their way through a friendship. While we do see a little of these two in the previous duet, their book delves more into how things came into play for these two. And as you know, you ALWAYS have to read the first book of the duets in order to continue on. Honestly, just read them ALL you will not be disappointed! Back to the story at hand. I think the one thing I loved about this series is how Fox gave us the past as it melded into the present. It gives the book such a depth that you are fully engrossed in what happens to these two. They also take on a tough subject and write it with such grace. It is heartbreaking but also uplifting. I love the wit, the banter, the chemistry, just pretty much everything. I devoured this story. Overall, this is ramping up to be an epic duet once again by Fox. Honestly, what book by them isn’t? However, there is just that something about it that I am in love with. I love how their writing pulls you in and leaves you breathless. They leave you begging for more and wanting to throw your kindle at the same time. Bring on the second book of this duet because I NEED IT NOW!

    "All sinners have their kryptonite."

Sweet Sophie. Mason had never forgotten the night he first saw her. She was funny and beautiful and they had an explosive attraction that left him with memories that were burned into his mind forever. But he wasn’t good enough for Sophie because he came with baggage that no one else should have to deal with so they remained friends, which was hard for him to do. He knew he could call her if he needed her, but he did not want her to need him. He was damaged goods and tormented by his past, and sweet Sophie was too decent and pure to put up with his nightmares. Then suddenly, Sophie did need him and he did everything in his power to protect her and keep her safe. She refused to listen to him, and they grew apart, but he still thought of her every day. He missed their connection, until one night, when she needed him the most, they forged a bond that can never be broken. Sophie would always be the one for him and he would do anything for her. Absolutely anything!!

    Loved Sophie & Mason

Truly Mine by Kennedy Fox is a friend to lovers’ romance with all the feels. Their stories grip the reader and leave you wanting more. This is a duet and I cannot wait for the next one. We met these characters in the Baby Mine Duet and it’s one of my favorite things, revisiting characters and getting to know their stories. Their characters make you want to hang out with them and be their friend. Sophie and Mason have a history, but also a friendship. Mason’s caring persona over Sophie and his fighting himself to get close but kept his distance make you fall in love with him. Can you say angst? He is tortured inside and needs to heal and move forward away from his past. Sophie wants Mason, but has accepted she can’t and tries to move on. Mason is in the forensics field and does not trust easily. Sophie is a classical musician. Sophie’s sister dates Mason’s best friend. They are connected, and are friends, roommates and healers for each other. This duet picks up right where Baby Yours left off. We get to see the events from Mason’s perspective and learn so much more about these characters. I really felt for Mason at times and just wanted him to wake up. Sophie deserved the world and her characters go through many emotions throughout the story. Their alternating POV really lets you understand what they are going through and feeling throughout the book. I do not usually like the slow burn romance, however, the way Kennedy Fox writes it, you are just glued to the story. I just love their writing style, the characters and their stories. Their duets have a cliffhanger and you must read both, but trust me you want to. Although you do not need to read the other duet, it will be loved so much more to know all the characters stories. I definitely recommend this duet, this series and Kennedy Fox’s books!

4.5 stars!! Loved this angsty friends to lovers

4.5 stars! Kennedy Fox have once again wrecked me with an epic and surprising cliffhanger. They've turned me into a desperate mess because I need book 2 of Mason and Sophie's story like now. Oh my goodness! I loved this book. Truly Mine was a swoony, emotional, angst-filled friends to lovers that hooked me from the very start. I'm addicted to the slow burn in this book. I could physically feel the tension all the way to my bones. Gah! I knew this story was going to be good! And I was not disappointed. These characters were everything. I am so in love with Mason and Sophie's relationship; even though it was at times frustrating af. But their connection was perfect. I think it's safe to say I have a giant crush on Mason. I go gaga for a protective hero. There is so much more to him than I previous thought. He came with a world of guilt that's impeded his happiness, his future and his self worth. Sophie was also amazing. There were moments when I felt like one of her sister hoping she'd get out of her situation. Still, I loved her strength and her heart. I wanted her to have it all. I love the pace and the way the duo wrote this story. I loved that it starts off with a holy cow moment and then brings the story back to build it up again. Moving from present time to the past and leading back to present events had me furiously swiping pages trying to find out what happens next. I've wanted this book since the end of Baby Yours. Kennedy Fox delivered in a big big way. I can't wait to continue Mason and Sophie's story. September can't get here soon enough.

I'm still reeling, even days later!

Kennedy Fox has once again clamped my heart in a vise with Truly Mine. Only start reading this book when you have enough time allotted to do anything else until you've finished, and even then, you'll need some recovery time. I absolutely LOVED this book (even though I have a countdown on my phone until the next one is released), it's a true KF book! With the Roommate Duet series, as soon as a new book hits my Kindle, I drop whatever my plans were and dive right in.
