I Totally Melted! This is Emotional All The Way!

I was a puddle of melted cream by the end of this story...Ms O'Leary's way with the English language was extraordinary! Her setting of Fate Harbor, Washington is so appealing, anyone would love to live there. Her characters all throughout the book were strong and well rounded. Her emotional development with each is a testament to her writing skills and I for one loved each person in this book. Me meet Chance, a man who having been in the foster care system was one of the few lucky ones. He was placed with a loving family who really does care for their charges. He grows up knowing hes important and loved. And Sam, one of the unlucky ones who the system fails repeatedly. Though he finally gets placed permanently with Chance. His scars are already there. And Josie, A woman who learned from the system that the only one who will care for you is yourself. Her only good memories from her childhood is the time she was in the foster home with Chance. Fast forward a few years and you find them conquering their own demons. All living in the same town and forming their own relationship, becoming the family they always wanted. Chance has left the corporate world an is living his life at a slower pace. Sam has returned from service to his country a broken man. Suffering from P.T.S.D. and Head Trauma he fights every day to live normal again. When Josie contacts her former foster parents to reconnect, she ends up buying a local bakery and moving across the country to live there too. She discovers Fate Harbor, Washington has more going on than meets the eye. There are menege partnerships all over town! Her best friend is married to the two Hotties running the local Diner! So when Chance and Sam let her know what they want...she's willing to try. Even if its only for a short time. Not believing anyone would truly ever want her, Josie is beset with insecurities about her body and self- worth. But Sam and Chance soon set her straight on that! Caitlyn O'Leary has wrapped me up in her world so thoroughly I was easily transported to a rural town in Washington. I was gifted this book by a friend who told me it was good. Well I'm here to say she severely underestimated this rating. It was far more than good, I'm not even sure if great is high enough praise. I would like to say thank you for this book and YES I am A confirmed Caitlyn O'Leary FAN-GIRL! Happy now Heidi? **smiling and waving pom-poms** Go get this book if you really love menege romances or just reading about real life situations. I dare you...

First book of a promising new series!!

When you read any author published by Siren, it’s fair to say that the stories will be HOT!!! But not only does Trusting Chance burn up the pages with copious amounts of smoldering between the sheets lovin’, it also delves deep into the emotional and physical wounds suffered by children at the hands of careless parents. All three of these exceptional people were once foster children in the home of Betty and Butch Hutchins, but unlike Chance, who stayed for the long haul after the death of his parents as a toddler; Josie and Sam were ripped from the loving arms of this wonderful couple and returned to their abusive parents. After many years of self-sacrifice and hard work, Josie has herded her twin sisters safely off the college and has now returned to Fate Harbor to start a new business. But little does Josie know that Chance has kept tabs on her through Betty, and the love of a little boy has flourished into the passion of a man. Sam is broken, and only through the brotherly support and love of Chance has he managed to survive the horrors of his past. Serving tours in war torn Afghanistan, has only added to Sam’s already battered opinion of himself and his conviction that he’s undeserving of happiness. While knowing that the task of bringing the two people he loves most into the world of ménage relationships and convincing them that a future between the three of them is possible is going to be a challenge; Chance is nothing if not determined, and he truly believes that Josie and Sam have the power to heal each other’s souls with him along to guide their hearts. Trusting Chance is a lovely start to a brand new series by the talented Ms O’Leary. I’m looking forward to book two…… Protecting Olivia.
