    Cute and Comical

Trying to Score was a cute and comical book. I really liked Teddy and Sara. They're both easy to like characters. Teddy and Sara have always had a strong connection, and there were always hints of there being more. We finally get answers and see just where their relationship started. They make a not so wise decision that comes back to bite them in the butt. I was expecting a little more with that part of the storyline, but it was still a good storyline overall. I also would have liked just a little more in the epilogue. It was a great book and I'm definitely interested in the next one!

    Wow!!!!

Trying to Score is book 3 in the Hot Jocks Series and this is Teddy King and Sarah Dawson’s story. What can I tell you about Teddy .....he is a man you will fall for big time he will probably steal a piece of your heart that you will most likely never get it back, I’m also sure he will become one of your favourite hero’s of this year. Sarah is the girl we would all love to be friends with and when Teddy asks for help she comes to his rescue. Timing never seems to work out for this couple they have never been single at the same time until now, has fate finally got it right with its intervention...... This friends to lovers romance has all the feels and it certainly ticked all my boxes, I laughed at the witty banter, I sighed at the intense scorching hot chemistry and I found myself wishing and hoping for a HEA for this adorable couple. This story will draw you in and it won’t let you go until you have read the finally line, it’s a book and a series that highly recommend to all romance readers, one clock this great read it won’t disappoint. Looking forward to what’s next from this very talented author.

    Will make your heart explode!

Teddy King...where on earth have you been all my life? Seriously his story will cause your heart to explode. And Sara, I loved her and definitely want to be her friend. But what happens when Teddy is faced with a potential scandal?? Oh boy. This book will send you on a very steamy ride. The chemistry between them is so sizzling....but I loved their genuine, easy going friendship too. With amazing friends around them, Sara and Teddy will keep your heart happy just as it did mine. I loved everything about this book and I'm so excited for more of this series. Kendall thank you for writing such a wonderful story we can escape into.

    Steamy fun

Second chance and friends to lovers are some of my favorite tropes. They're tricky to combine, in my opinion, but Kendall Ryan certainly does it well in this book. This was a quick read for me because as soon as I started reading I definitely did not want to stop. Teddy and Sara have an interesting relationship. Neither one was what I was expecting exactly, and I really liked that. They're both smart and sexy, as I've come to expect characters from this Author to be, but there is just something a little extra about them that worked for me. I believed in the evolution of their relationship from start to finish. It just all worked for them. This book was definitely steamy and sexy. I enjoyed getting to see past characters make appearances and loved seeing how they enhanced what was happening between Teddy and Sara. The writing flowed, and the dialogue between these two just crackled with energy. The book just flowed for me. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

Kendall Ryan scores a hat trick

Kendall Ryan scores a hat trick with book three in the Hot Jocks series, Trying to Score. This is hockey forward Teddy King’s and lawyer Sara Dawson’s story. Teddy and Sara made a sex tape together seven years ago when they were in college. Now Teddy is being blackmailed, and they need to do whatever it takes to try to prevent a scandal. This contemporary sport romance primarily takes place in Seattle. It is suitable for adult readers. I was really looking forward to this story. Teddy and Sara were always bickering in the previous book. It was fun learning their history. The two have amazing chemistry. They are a cute couple that deserved a second chance. It was entertaining experiencing the progression of their relationship. Kendall Ryan did a great job with this book. It is skillfully written and exciting throughout. I enjoyed the plot. The characters were in an interesting predicament, while balancing other issues with work and their personal lives. The story had a fun ending that felt well concluded. I recommend this book to people who enjoy second chance sports romances. I’m looking forward to Asher and Baily’s story next in Crossing the Line. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
