  • Absolutely phenomenal

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian I Dig Good Books. *I received a copy of this story from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.* HOLY CRAP! That book. That story. That was an intense read. It was far from what I was expecting. I was absolutely astounded by the writing and storytelling in this book. I didn’t want to stop reading and stayed up too late because I just could not put this book down! Be prepared to have your temper to the point of boiling and be prepared to have your heart be squeezed until you think it can’t handle anymore. On the flip side, be ready for some incredible humor and some super duper sweetness. The love that is shown in this books will make you melt into a puddle of goo and leave a lasting smile on your face. It’s just phenomenal. Dustin is an intense character. He can go from one extreme to the next. He can be over bearing. He can also be broken at the drop of a hat. He almost wears his emotions on his sleeves and when he falls, he falls hard. Of course, this book brings back characters from book 1, Teo and crew. They provide their own amount of humor and keep you informed on what is going on with their group of friends. This is a pretty heavy read. There are a few surprises or few details that might catch you off guard, I know they did me. I didn’t expect it to be so heavy emotionally but I don’t think the story would be the same if it wasn’t that way. The ending wasn’t a solid ending, it definitely left a few things open for future books. I’m interested to see how the author takes the details and if she uses them for future books. Don’t get me wrong, you will get the “closure” that you need but it’s not a definite ending, there is more to come. What are you waiting for? Go purchase the book immediately!

    Thanks for your feedback!
