    A sweet, clean romance

This incredibly sweet story continues the saga of the wounded warriors who find their way to Dragonfly Pointe. Only Jason and Kat's story started there 14 years before. At a time when his world seemed to be the darkest, Jason finds himself dreaming of the teenage girl he left behind and although he has no intention of making contact with her, when she arrives at Dragonfly Pointe for Christmas - alone - he definitely is not going to pass up the opportunity that has landed at his feet. Jason was always a gentleman, even as a teenage boy, and his attraction to Kat makes him more sentimental than one would think for a warrior of his calibre. However, over the time that has elapsed, Kat has retained her sweet and lively nature, and Jason finds himself falling in love with her all over again. However, when Kat's not quite ex-boyfriend arrives, combined with the prosthesis her has to wear, Jason has his doubts about the future of a relationship with Kat. Although this book is part of a series it is nevertheless as standalone, however it does help to read the other books as well in order to have a better understanding of where the story originated. The story is well written and squeaky clean, making it suitable for a young adult to read as well. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
