  • Unbelievable Hotness Level!

In this book, there are two books, Fantasy and Tantalizing that were written by Lori Foster in 1998 and this anthology set was published in 2010. Fantasy (Rating: 5/5) features security specialist Sebastian Sinclair who is a mountain of a man with sensitivity and control that just touches your heart. He has had a rough childhood and being secure and safe matters the most to him. Brandi Sommers is a cute, fragile and sweet wallflower. She is surrounded by a loving family but an incident has left her jaded and fearful. These two scorched the pages of the book from the beginning. My goodness, I couldn't get enough! Their attraction at first sight to how their relationship develops and the care these two show each other, had me enthralled. I read this book twice and loved every minute of it! Sebastian and Brandi are one of my favourite couples. I hope to read Shay's story, if there is one. This is a must read! ***** Tantalizing (Rating 4.5/5) stars advertising and marketing genius Nick Harris who is care free and foot loose. Nick has had a dysfunctional childhood that has soured him off of relationships. To this bachelor, it is all about having fun and commitment is a concept best not experienced. Nurse and care taker, Josie Jackson has been responsible and driven all her life. A traumatic event and an over protective sister, has made Josie extremely ambitious and very much a cautious person. However, her ability to care for others is off the charts. Again, these two were attracted each other from the very beginning. They heated up the pages, but Nick and Josie have secrets of their own. They are both fearful and sure that if the other knows these 'untruths', it will definitely unravel the developing feelings that both are unwilling to admit to themselves. So let the scheming and plotting begin! For this book, I was slightly turned off by the lies that were piling up, especially on Nick's end. Also, Josie's sister, Susan's over protectiveness was a little over the top. It was funny to read about a person having a car phone in their car. Since it was 1998, it can be forgiven but it did bring back memories. It took me at least four chapters to really be all in for this book. Once Nick and Josie told the truth, the book was much more enjoyable. The story and the heat between the characters made it worth while. And you do have to meet Bob as well. Overall this book was a lot of fun and with sexiness up the hilt. Lori Foster was at her best in these stories. Highly recommended!
