  • Good but below par for Furst

Lot's of good passages but the book has the feel of a highlights reel of his previous works, quickly thrown together. If you need a short fix of fresh Furst and rereading one of the other books won't do it, go ahead. Otherwise go with those first, they're even better.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Great read

Alan Furst writes atmopheric novels set on the edges of WW2. This novel tracks along the resistance fighters, and their war. You will fd yourself transported to wartime Paris. Hard to put this one down. Right up there with his best. Enjoy!
