    An incredibly exciting suspense novel!

This book is a “stand-alone within a series” novel. The story itself stands alone though characters from the first book are mentioned and make cameo appearances. I absolutely love both of the main characters in this wonderful story. I was completely able to understand the emotional hang-ups that both Gray and Gemma deal with. They are so well developed and their pasts are slowly shared and discussed. The journey that Gemma goes on to trust God again is very easy to understand. She wants to believe but her heartache has raised horrible doubts. The mystery about the wildlife trafficking ring is gradually spelled out. The suspense and danger that Gemma and Gray face is so well presented that I was caught up in it and at times my heart was racing as their lives were in danger. I was hooked from the first chapter and knew that I needed to find out who was behind it and how they would be caught. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series. I received a free copy of this book from the author. I have chosen to write this review to express my personal opinion. Animal Traffiking and Murder

I've been wanting to read a book that centered around animal trafficking and this one is fantastic! I know this is a big problem in the world today and it concerns me. I could tell the author did research on the subject and I enjoyed learning more about it. Special Agent Grayson Wilde works for the US Fish and Wildlife Service. He gets a tip that there might be some trafficking of tiger parts going on in a tiger sanctuary, so he goes undercover as a volunteer to find out if that is truly happening. He lost a good friend to this trafficking ring and he wants the criminal brought to justice. The owner is Gemma Rollins and Grayson is going to investigate her first.....until it's obvious that someone is trying to kill her! Gemma, on the other hand, lost her family and is determined to carry on the legacy of a tiger sanctuary that her parents began when she was young but why is someone trying to kill her? Maybe her family's deaths weren't accidental after all! The action doesn't stop in this book and you never know what is going to happen next! Every one is a suspect! I found it hard to understand how Gemma could keep going after things continued to happen to her. This is a great book and I would highly recommend it!
