  • Loved this book!!!

I loved this book!! The author transports the reader back to the uranium boom town of Grants, NM, in the mid 1970s through vivid descriptions of the sights, sounds and smells of his and his fellow miners' underground world. This book will appeal to anyone who has an interest in the American West or enjoys inspiring, true stories that are well-told. While the accounts transport the reader to a perilous working environment, the reader experiences a comforting, remarkable connection with the author and the genuine characters with whom he worked. The stories are original, informative and colorful with finely observed details, memorable characters and unique settings. There is a true appreciation for his fellow hard-working miners of this bygone era as well as a sincere recognition and appreciation for the many life lessons learned along the way.

    Thanks for your feedback!
