    Thanks for your feedback!

Unicorn shifter protector man? Yes, please!

I liked the premise of this story--that there are mythical protectors here on Earth to gather all those magical beings who are still here and send them to safety in Alter Earth. Rourke is one of those protectors. As a unicorn shifter and protector, he can take the form of a unicorn, a horse, or a man, and his special gift is healing. When he meets Kaitlyn, he knows she is his mate, even if she has no idea why she has always been a little different and has a healing gift working with animals as a veterinarian. The sparks fly immediately between Rourke and Kaitlyn, and there are plenty of sizzling sexy times. However, there is also a lot of violent action as the bad guys, Hunters who have tracked and killed magical beings for hundreds of years, are out to kill Kaitlyn and all her new-found friends. It's going to take all the magical residents of the Haven Ranch to defeat the Hunters. And Kaitlyn and Rourke have to use all the gifts they have and the strength of their love to survive. The story is fast-paced and there are fun moments, smoking hot moments, and horrifying moments, but overall it's a great story. I am eager to see how all the other protectors meet their mates and continue to help more magical beings. There does need to be another pass at editing the book, though. The high number of typos and the almost complete lack of commas is distracting. There are torture and sexual assault scenes and talk of other rapes, so be aware of those triggers.
