    Loved it!

I LOVED this book and I really enjoyed returning to Whisper Creek! While it's not necessary to have read the prior books to understand and enjoy this story, it was fun to catch up on all the characters I fell in love with in the previous stories. The writing is excellent and there is a nice easy flow to the story. Alexis Maguire has spent much of her adult life caring for her mother. When the happily ever after she thought she was headed toward comes crashing down around her she knows she needs a break and a little time to herself. Her fiance dumped her just a few weeks before their wedding telling her she is just too predictable and boring. Well spending the summer on a ranch in Montana is neither of those and she plans to show her ex just how fun she can be. The first person she meets is Gunnar Peterson. He's a drop dead gorgeous cowboy who's easy, carefree, and fun to be around. Lexi (yep, shortened the name to be more fun) feels relaxed and adventurous when she's with Gunnar. Soon he has her trying all sorts of things she never would have done on her own. As the summer moves on and their relationship heats up, it saddens both of them to know that things between them could never work. Montana is the home he's always longed for and she's tied with caring for her mother in Maine. Sometimes though with a little faith and a lot of planning everyone can have their HEA! Put this one on the must read list. I highly recommend it.

    Unlucky in Love

This book pulled me in right from the start. I chose this one because it seemed to be a good read. I have read one before from Maggie. I was right. Lexi and Katie had to take care of their mother. She makes dramas for them to come help her. Lexi is a nurse. Katie manages a B&B. Lexi has just been dropped by her fiancé. Major Spoiler. She signs up to be nurse for Whiskey Creek guest vacations. She is here from Maine to Montana. Then she meets Gunnar. He trains the camp horses. She is terrified and also wants to get braver. They get close and she has to leave in 8 weeks. Spoiler. Gunnar has to make a run for a horse to train. Lexi gets an emergency call for her family. This is where you are really grabbed. She has to go home and everyone thinks the other has told here. Major Spoiler. I enjoyed reading this story. I felt for both Lexi and Gunnar. Major Spoiler. You need to read to find out how it comes out. I hope you choose to read this story. Enjoy! I have this book for an honest review for NetGalley.

    LOVED IT!

I will definitely be reading the other books in this series. Cowboys and romance. Who could ask for more. Loved Gunnar and Lexi. All the other characters with books of their own were amazing too. Can't wait to read their stories also. Such sweetness!!!

Another enjoyable trip to Whisper Creek

I enjoyed this story. Alexis was easy for me to identify with as I am not very adventurous either. Gunnar's determination to help her see that she was best as herself kept me reading this book. This was my second trip to Whisper Creek and I will return. I highly recommend this book and series. I received a copy of this book through Netgalley, and this is my voluntarily given review.

    Loved this Book!!!

Unlucky in Love by Maggie McGinnis....I absolutely loved this book, it was fun, sweet, loving, sexy and just PERFECT. Gunner, oh my...so hot, sweet and a cowboy. Lexi a beautiful sweet nurse that is trying to get over a failed relationship and wanting to leave her comfort zone. These two were so fun to watch their stories unfold. Maggie McGinnis is one of my top 5 authors of all times. I know when I pick one of her books up, I am in for a treat. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book by publisher via NetGalley.
