Boring Characters Speaking Massively Boring Words

As this review progresses, the reader will see more and more that “Unmasking Zoey” resembles a truck spinning its wheels in mud. The book is adverrtised about a woman blackmailed into sex. Um, yes, for about 2 pages, then the story meanders into entirely different directions. For a truly erotic, stimulating tale of a woman forceed to commit sex acts read “Private Choices” by Erik D. Astor. This book, on the other hand, consists almost entirelly of consensual sex told with all the exciement of a mortician selling caskets. But what really reduces “Unmasking Zoey” to the rubble of a 1-star novel is the dialogue of the underdeveloped characters. The language is not only dull but insultingly dull - “Oh, that’s good” “Oh, that’s big” “Oh, that’s too big” “Oh, oh, oh” This author, who started off writing incest - “Family Affair” “Family In Heat” - novels, graduating to some rather good erotic work, i.e., the excellent “Abigail” (5 Stars), seems lately to be spewing out books with titles - like this one - that suggest far more than the book actually delivers. I strongly do not recommend this book.
