    Untamed

I was floored. Loved all the twists and turns and obstacles Griffin put himself through. Didn't see that mid ending happening it had me in tears, that he lost the contest! Thanks for keeping me loving Griffin even more then I did before! What a crazy ass.

    Awesome

Love this story in general. At times reading from Griffens pov was annoying cause you just want to scream at him but no matter what, S C Stephens gets you by the balls and I can't stop reading.

    Life Lessons and Revelations

This book floored me. I don't know what I was expecting, but what I got surprised me. Untamed is a story of personal growth and redemption. Everything is told from the mind Griffin, which can be a totally crazy and scary place sometimes. For me the story went through stages. The beginning is hilarious. I knew Grif would be funny, but I literally could not keep from laughing out loud. Then he became obsessed with having a bigger part in the band. I felt sorry for him when he was constantly turned down. Kellan's shadow is a dark place sometimes. That morphed into a spotlight on his total self-absorption. What is apparent to the reader, isn't so easy for him to see. This leads to him eating crow in a big way. I stayed up most the night reading Untamed. I groaned at some of the antics Griffin pulled. I became so nervous at times when it seemed everything was falling apart. I even cried several tears. Before this book, I only thought of Grif as the joker. It takes awhile, but seeing a different side of him is wonderful. I never thought about Anna so much before Untamed. She's an amazing character and perfect for him. They're excellent at keeping the sexy spark alive. All of the band members and families add to the depth, and I liked seeing more from everyone.

    The Price of Awesomeness

★ ★ 4.5 Stars! ★ ★ In a word, Untamed is AWESOME. Actually, to quote Griffin, it’s “awesome wrapped in awesome smothered in more awesome”. This book had me laughing, crying, swooning, and cringing. I totally loved it! I was curious about the direction this book would take, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Griffin’s story is about so much more than just his antics—it’s an emotional journey full of highs and lows. It follows his need to learn and to grow up, which I found a combination of exasperating, heartwarming, and hilarious. Griffin is a cocky, obnoxious, oblivious, and uncouth narcissist with epic delusions of grandeur—but you just can’t help but love him! Throughout the book, he learns the true definition of family and of teamwork. Of course, he has to learn his lessons the hard way. While Griffin’s pride and his ego take a beating, his sense of humor never dies. I think that may be my second favorite part about him. My favorite thing about Griffin has to be his love for his family. Seriously, it is unbelievably amazing. He may be an egotistical ass, but the depth of his love and protectiveness for his wife and kids surprised me. Anna (who is an absolute saint, by the way) is the perfect yin to his yang. So awesome and so sweet! For the fans of Kellan and the rest of the gang, don’t worry, they’re all back for another go-around. Add in Griffin’s extended family, and you hit the entertainment jackpot. It’s definitely a must-read for every fan of the series!
