    Thanks for your feedback!

I bought Until Tuesday as my first book for my new e-reader. It caught my eye, being a dog owner & dog lover. It turns out not just to be a beautifully written book about that special bond between a human & a dog, but a real emotional eye-opener. There weren't too many pages that didn't have me crying or laughing. I read it in stages, as some chapters were hard to read & worth taking the time to digest. Luis Montalvan really opens himself up to show us what it is like being a soldier in the midst of war, as well as what it is like to live with PTSD & all of its difficulties . He took his traumas, both physical & mental, met them head-on & dealt with them - with help from some wonderful people & one wonderful dog. He took his anger (in my mind justified) at the US military & government & turned them into being an advocate for wounded veterans, service dogs & a more honest & caring military. I learned lots - about the true experiences of war, about PTSD, about service dogs (it's absolutely amazing what they can be taught to do to help people in all kinds of situations) & about the human-dog bond. The highest of accolades to Luis & Tuesday - I hope they go on changing our world - and theirs - for a long time. This book will remain on my e-reader, as it's worth a re-read. I am trying to get an organization in my area to bring him in for a speaking engagement - he is so inspiring, I know lots of people who would go to see him.

    UNTIL TUESDAY.

I REALLY LOVED THIS BOOK. U MAY THINK IT'S ABOUT A BEAUTIFUL DOG, WHICH IT IS, BUT I LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT THE WAR IN IRAQ, VETERANS, PTSD, THE HOMELESS & THE SPOILED RICH. AN EXCELLENT, HEARTWARMING BOOK. VERY WELL WRITTEN & A COMPELLING READ, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.
