  • a tender love story of a reunion with a hot ending

This is another in the Colony: Holiday Books about life in an experimental environment, where Titans and Humans live and (usually) cooperate and (sometimes) fall in love. It can be read stand-alone, though a lot of backstory is presented in previous books, including the history of the Colony. This is the story of Annie and Valentine's reunion, four years after he was presumed dead while Annie had been working in a lab growing emus from their DNA to overcome her grief. Valentine was recently found in a stasis pod but was severely damaged, so bad he had to be regrown from his DNA. Their reunion is the theme of the story, made more poignant because Valentine's memories did not regrow with his body. Annie got the physical body without the memories of their past. It is a tender love story of a reunion with a climactic ending.

  • Next rescued space guy and Colony worker

Quick read, as part of a serial, fun, steamy at the end. A couple of cameo appearances from the other parts only add in a link to the whole, although this particular book has less about the Colony and concentrates on the sweet couple separated and reunited. Fascinating, how much character development over only 70 pages!

  • Emotional

This is an intensely emotional story for me, Valentine was presumed dead for 4 years, and when he is revived, he has no memories of his previous life, or his wife. This is just a tragic set of circumstances, but the story is just wonderful. I can’t wait to read more in this series

  • She thought she had lost him

Four years ago, Anna was told she had lost her husband Valentine, and although she believes she is a widow, she still hasn't moved on. She can hardly believe it when she gets told, they have retrieved his escape pod and he is in Regen. Will he be the same man, she remembers? I loved this romance, Anna and Valentine are easy to love, and have some cute tales to remember. I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received, and giving my thoughts and opinions on it.
