    Good

Good read. A few to many 'coincidences' but still enjoyable.

    Series continues well

Very similar to the first book of the series; that is to say, very good overall (self-consistent, well-thought out battle scenes, great plot), but slightly 2-dimensional characters & the protagonist remains a bit 'too perfect'. But still a great read which I enjoyed.

    Valor at Vauslee

This series begins to take on the look and feel of the Lensman series of Doc E E Smith. I loved that Series! So, this is a "she", so what! It's good reading and at least the author does not have the habit of always using only she's or only he's. The only problem I have is the spelling. Valor should be valour, as in Honour Carver.

    So far, so good...

...and, this is the second book in the series. What I said in my review of the first book applies here, except for a remark about a slightly rocky start. This one got right down to business. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm heading over to the Kobo site to buy the next book in the series....'nuff said.
