    A Beautiful Surreal Story

This review is a summary of the review I published on my blog (Disappear into Books) I loved almost every aspect of this book: • To me this books was like a surreal painting. Magical, fantastic, bizarre, weird and gruesome. • I loved the creepy atmosphere; • The events that took place are wonderful. Sometimes they were weird or vague but it was perfect for this story; • This book was full of suspense en creepy moments; • The subplots complemented the main plot and were interesting to read; • I loved the main character. She's a bit weird, detached and has trust issues. Buy she’s also strong-willed and protective of the people she loves. This book had two aspects I didn’t like: • The opening was a slow, although it gave me a clear idea about the main character’s life before the start of story, it could’ve been a bit shorter. • I would've liked an epilogue or extra chapter, because some questions were still unanswered and I would've liked to know what happened after Vassa defeats the evil witch. Recommendation: I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes an imaginative tale with a lot of horror elements, a likeable main character, an inventive plot and an evil antagonist.
