    5 Fun & Sexy Stars

Violets Are Not Blue is absolutely my favorite book that I’ve read by Melissa Toppen. This book was fun, witty, and sexy. Blue Daniels is a love cynic. She’s been burned by a man one too many times and no longer believe it’s in her future. Harris Avery is the office playboy who has set his sights on Blue. He wants to date her, she wants nothing to do with his womanizing ways. They make a bet that leads them to spending more time together. She finds out he’s not as bad as she thought. I loved the witty banter they threw back and forth. They had insane chemistry and Harris turned out to be really sweet and romantic. I highly recommend this story to everyone who enjoys well written, fun loving romance.

    Who Will Win The Bet?

I enjoyed this book. This enemies to lovers romance was very well written. I really liked Harris. He is hot, charming, flirty and quite the playboy until he firmly sets his sights on Blue. Then you see he is a very sweet, funny, determined and totally swoon worthy book boyfriend. I wish I could say that I loved Blue as much, but honestly, I just didn't. I felt for her and completely understood the walls she had around her badly battered and wounded heart. That being said, denial is not just a river in Egypt and I eventually grew tired of her anti-love mantra and her desperate need to distance herself from Harris. It was very frustrating and it made me feel just awful for Harris. Still, if you can get past that and stay focused on all the good things about this book, you'll find that this is a really good read.

    Great

Blue does not believe in love. Harris works at her office and a real playboy. One day they make an e bet with each other. Harris has 30 days to let Blue fall in love with him. Harris is sexy, funny, charming and romantic. Nice written story.
