  • A Romantic Back to the Future

All through reading this wonderful romantic novella by Emma Kaye, Robert Frost kept whispering in my ear. “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.” If you were given the chance to go back and make different choices in your life, would you? There’s no guarantee things will turn out better. In fact the possibility exists that they could turn out worse. Would close your eyes and leap? Or would you stick with the devil you know? That’s just the situation in which Lucy Legato finds herself in Waffle Cone Magic. On her seventy-sixth birthday she makes what she thinks is a half-hearted wish to change her lousy life, lousy because she settled for less than absolutely everything she deserved. Fate hears a challenge in that wish and gives her the chance to do just that. As Waffle Cone Magic progresses and Lucy encounters the roads less traveled in her life, you root for her to choose the ones that’ll make all the difference. If you love the HEAs that result from the fresh starts promised in all second chance stories, Waffle Cone Magic is the story for you. It definitely was for me.

  • Time travel

I normally don’t read time travel stories, but I really enjoyed reading about Lucy and what happens when she goes back in time. I’ll not going to leave any spoilers, so grab this fast read and see what happens. I will say I loved the younger man/older woman aspect. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
