    Awesome addition

As a fan of the Soulkeepers, this was a great spin off to the original series. I couldn't put it down.

G.P. Ching just gets better and better!

You know when you read the first book in a series think, "That was great - I have SO gotta read the next one!"? And then you read the next, and the next and shoot through the whole series in no time? And then, when you know there are no more books left in the series, the feeling of letdown is devastating, because it feels like you've just lost some very good friends? I must say that for the Soulkeepers series, Wager's Price is the perfect cure for that feeling of premature closure! Beginning far enough in the future from where Soulkeepers left off, this story picks up on a new generation of kids... believable teens finding themselves in what should be unbelievable situations - all made believable by a well-planned, intriguing storyline. I recently read this quote: "A good book makes you want to live in the story - a great book gives you no choice." To me, this is a great book; and while it can be read as a stand-alone, I feel it will be more fully appreciated if you do invest in the whole series, which would make it the seventh read. Each story in the series makes the adventure richer and fuller, becoming "better than the last", if you will.
