    A great book

5 star review of Wait For Me by KL Grayson Single parent romances have fast become one of my favourite tropes; in fact I would almost say I have become addicted to them. I am new to K L Grayson and I have no idea why that is based on this book and I will certainly be looking to read more from her as soon as I can. Grayson Calhoun is a single father to 3 and the relationship he has with his children and the way they relate to one another made for a heart warming story that drew me in and had me totally captivated from the first to the last chapter. The very last thing that Grayson expects or needs is romance in his life. However fate works in mysterious ways and when Nora Hayes offers to help him with childcare over the summer that is what he gets. As friendship morphs in to so much more, you cannot help but cheer for Grayson and Nora. However, will real life get in their way and force them to part? Or will these two lost souls finally get the happiness that they deserve? This was an emotional read that certainly pulled at the heartstrings and you cannot help but fall in love with this story, I know I did. It was at times an emotional roller coaster of a read that will make you laugh, it will make you cry and it will make you swoon.

    Loved every word

Jackie Wright's review Jul 20, 2019 · edit it was amazing K.L. Grayson is a new author to me and after reading Wait For Me I have to wonder why she hasn’t crossed my radar before now and I will certainly be checking out her other books. Grayson and Nora’s story captivated me I was hooked from the first page to the last line and I couldn’t put this book down. This book has it all, a single dad, adorable children, a child star trying to find herself, plenty of witty banter and just the right mix of humour and angst. Nora is tired of the fame and lifestyle she has been living since she became a child star , she is now a woman and needs to take control of her life so she takes a break and decides to spend some time with her brother and sister in law what she didn’t expect was to fall for a handsome single dad of 3..... Grayson’s life revolves around his 3 adorable children, he is doing the best he can for his family and is not looking for a relationship until he turns up at his friends house to see a woman who stops him in his tracks ..... can this beautiful star take to small town life with a dad of 3 .... This is a sweet sexy friends to lovers romance and I loved everything about this book, I loved the children, I loved the adults, I loved the story and this book left me feeling all fuzzy inside what more can you ask for in a great read. I’m really excited to have found a new author who’s writing captivated me and I can’t wait to read more books by this very talented author.

    Great audiobook

I won the audiobook and let me tell you it was amazing, the story was great, I love celebrity romances and even though single dad is not really my cup of tea I really loved Grayson and his kids. Nora a child celebrity grown woman now wanted her career to change and be seen as the young woman she was now, after an incident she finds herself somewhere where she meets Grayson. The audiobook narrated by the amazing Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott was very good, I love Wen's voice and how he shows all the emotions in his performance, I totally recommend the audio.

Swoony, single dad second chance romance

Wait For Me is a standalone by Author KL Grayson. It is a single dad second chance romance. I really loved it. It is a perfect beach read. Grayson Calhoun is raising three kids on his own. He is an amazing dad and puts his kids first. Jack, Emma and Henry are absolutely adorable and add so much to the story. Grayson is a great looking guy, but doesn’t date. His ex wife killed his feelings and he just doesn’t have time for anything but his kids. It so he keeps telling himself. One day while at his best friend Jackson’s house he meets his sister, Nora Hayes. She is a childhood and pop star. One look at her with his kids and his heart and hormones awaken from their slumber. Nora is hiding out at her brother’s and sister in-law’s house to get away from her Hollywood life and the paparazzi. She wants to re-invent herself and stop being the goody goody her team wants her to portray. She ends up living in his apartment and watching his kids. Everything is going great for them until her very public life and his private past collide. Will they be able to move forward? Can they make it work? One click to find out if they can forgive each other and mesh their very different lives together. Be prepared to swoon!

    5+ stars!

Le sigh. I absolutely adored this novel! The single parent trope is one of my personal favorites, and without a doubt, K.L. Grayson a humdinger of a love story. There was heart, humor, and heat, and her main characters were very human, making mistakes but learning from them and not only as they try to figure out their developing relationship from flirty friends to committed lovers. I loved the chemistry between Grayson and Nora as much as I did the camaraderie that they shared with their respective families and friends. The most memorable, however, were definitely Grayson's kids--Jack, Emma, and Henry--each one stealing my heart, especially Jack. Like with everything else of this author's that I've read, I breezed through this novel in one sitting, swooning and sighing and smiling without a care in the world except for what was happening on Wait for Me's virtual pages. Five-plus stars. ♥
