Interesting and enjoyable could be better

Lora Leigh is one of my favourite authors. I'm a fan of her Breeds series. Installment #31 "Wake a Sleeping Tiger" has been long awaited. The book is well written and entertaining. However, less sex scenes and more suspenseful fast-paced action like Chelsea's daring desert rescue and the ambush at the crossroad would have made the book even better. Yes, we all know that sex sells but a bit too much of it spoils, even if well-written. A good balance of sexy parts, drama and fast-paced action makes for a more memorable book that one wants to keep and read again. Two examples of such a book in the Breeds series is "Coyote's Mate" and "Elizabeth's Wolf".

    Wake a Sleeping Tiger

Ms. Leigh does't disapoint with this story, the action twists and stong emotions are what I've come to expect. The story keeps you reading to see the end then makes you wish for more.

    Wake a sleeping tiger

It’s been a while since I’ve read a Lora Leigh book and I had forgotten how much I had enjoyed the Breed saga. This book is about Judd and Chelsea and their growing will they/won’t they relationship. Judd is a little hard to bare at times, coming across really strong willed and trying to fit Chelsea into a box. Chelsea on the other hand is not having any of it and continues to push back against Jude’s dominance. The story line of how Judd comes into his dominance is also interesting and moments with his brother Simon are quite witty! Overall, this was a good, action packed book with lots of twists and turns. It might be helpful to read previous books in this series as there are a lot of characters that you have to keep check of, but overall a good, romantic read.
