    Book 51/Suncoast Society Tymber Dalton's best !

This is the story of June & Mark ("Scrye the Guy") Jarette. June has always been a very driven person, even if she's Mark's submissive/slave. Despite the fact that Mark's June's Dom, in his everyday life he's calm, laid back & unassuming. We've always gotten a hint of something mysterious in their past. But now we get the entire story. June & Mark meet in high school, thanks to June's twin, July. Both June & July are top students with 4.0 GPAs, with incomparable gymnastics skills. They wanted to try for the Olympics when they were 13 but were too young. Now, 4 years later, they're on track to make that dream come true. Mark's extremely supportive of both June & July. As an only child, he's been adopted by the Corden family. But July's boyfriend, Matt, is angry at July's commitment to gymnastics & that Mark's so involved in both girls' lives. Mark's always there to support them in their choices, starts working at the gym to learn more about their passion. Matt isn't willing to be involved in their gymnastics. He's not about to interrupt his life to make sacrifices like Mark does. But Matt still hates Mark for being a part of July's life. The girls nail it at the Nationals & now truly have a shot at the Olympics. But finances are extremely tight for their parents. Both work. Neither can go with the teens to the camp required so they can be considered for the Olympics. There's no money for the expenses. The twins have the talent but what can they do without a chaperone & money? Mark's at college now, working several jobs & still taking care of the twins. The twins are just a couple of months into their freshman year at college & are living on their own. The Cordens trust Mark like he's their son. When Mark volunteers to give the girls the money he's been saving for a new car, takes a loan from his father & offers to be their chaperone, both sets of parents agree. If the twins can catch the attention of the camp's coaches, it's a sure bet they'll make the Olympics. But there's one person who's not happy about this, Matt. By now, July's had more than enough of Matt's overbearing nature. Her parents, June, Mark, everyone in her life have disliked Matt since they started dating. July has finally seen Matt's true nature. She's had enough. Before camp begins, July decides to break up with Matt. July begs June to let her handle the breakup her way, alone. June's more than uneasy. Matt's shown his temper & anger before. She's afraid July will allow Matt to talk his way out of the breakup. Their parents are out of town. Reluctantly, June agrees to spend the night at their parents' home. July tells June she'd prefer that since she'll probably want alone time after the breakup. June leaves home that morning feeling sick in the pit of her stomach. No, Matt's never physically hurt July. But that's no guarantee he won't. Ms. Dalton takes us yet on another thoroughly engaging story full of mystery, thrills, chills, romance, every sort of emotion possible. Events throughout the book zigzag from the past to the present & various points in between. It's a dizzying ride filled with unexpected revelations. There's joy, pain, love, fear, rage, forgiveness & so much more. June & Mark's lives change in ways & go in totally unexpected directions. There're deep secrets that could destroy & change multiple lives forever. This isn't your ordinary BDSM romance. This is a mystery/thriller/BDSM romance that will have you completely riveted from beginning to end! In my opinion, Walk Between the Raindrops is the second best of Tymber Dalton's Suncoast Society books. June & Mark's story deals with incredible challenges & tells of their lives together overcoming obstacles that few could. It's a poignant story filled with love, desolation, joy, life-altering despair & so much more. It's nothing short of a masterpiece! Thank you, Tymber Dalton, for yet another amazing book in this series! Thanks for reading my review & happy reading
