  • Nice read

Good mystery, took my time and just let the story unfurl.

  • Walking Shadows

A good read but not as smoothly written as her other books. Trying to follow events and Decker's hypothesis along the way gets confusing. Lots of gaps in rationale and questions left unanswered.

  • Not a bad read, but not a great one.

The writing was good, but as much as the plot kept me reading, there were far too many characters involved. At one point the detective said although one case had too few suspects, he had too many. That sums up the problem. Too many suspects, relationships, and events that had happened too many years ago. I very much liked the detective, his family, and his co-workers.

  • Entertaining and Interesting

In her easy prose, Kellerman provides another page turner that is both entertaining and plausible. The minor characters and sub plots satisfy the need for familiarity with Decker and Rina but still take the reader on a new journey. I look forward to the next in the series.
