    Wannabe in my gang

Within the crimebook genre, this book is refreshing in the sense that the author does reveal a few home truths about the so-called gangsters and moral code these types of books portray. However I would describe it as just about readable. Approximately half way through I got bored of reading his rants and lengthy descriptions of court cases, meetings or letters. Often inserting quotes directly that are only half as interesting to the reader as they appear to be to the author. I couldn't get away from the overriding fact that whilst mohony is highly critical of the violent underworld, the police and people who worship gangsters. He seems to overlook the fact this is what he has spent most of his life involved with, and continues to seek the limelight from his involvement to this day.
