    Warday

This author can write so well that it was disappointing the story was heavily padded with pages of unnecessary statistics. I skipped them after reading the first few..... They did not add to the storyline

    Thought Provoking

I read this novel about 20 years ago, shortly after the end of the Cold war. It reads as a kind of travel journal of two journalists that travel across America to document the changes to society after surviving a nuclear exchange with the Soviet Union. Anyone who enjoys history, alternate history, and post-apocalyptic novels should enjoy this book.
