    Fantastic!

Karen Lynch does it again! I have to say, first of all, that I am not always a fan of companion books. That being said I loved Warrior. Warrior is written so well it could be a stand-alone novel. Warrior has all of the deliciousness that the Relentless series has. There is dynamic relationships, humorous banter, an intense love story and hell hounds. For me it always comes back to Hugo and Woolf. I just love the hell hounds. In addition to hell hounds there is a variety of creatures. I say if you like the genre I say you must read this book and the Relentless series. Warrior is told from the viewpoint of Nikolas. Nikolas is a Mohiri warrior who is beautiful, tender, fierce and super sexy. The story is told from his point of view and is a pleasant change from the female perspective. The intensity of the relationship between Nikolas and Sara is not one dimensional (meaning all about the physical sexual tension). There is tenderness. There is humor. There is patience. There is independence and Sara is allowed to stand on her own even when Nikolas wants to put her in a protective bubble. Nikolas and Sara are believable and I am sure when I re-read Warrior and the Relentless series it will be like hanging out with old friends. Karen Lynch is a magical weaver of stories. Her writing is dynamic, fun, intense and just good and very enjoyable. I love her writing. I love the way she interacts with her readers. I am looking forward to the next book she writes, Relentless related or a new series. Warrior will not disappoint fans of this genre and I believe readers who enjoy a good read will also enjoy it. Put down your cell phones, turn of the TV and get to reading!

    Warrior Nation Sealed The Deal

Where do I begin? I was a late bloomer to the Relentless Series. I'd heard so many wonderful things about it that I needed to see for myself what brought about the buzz. In April of this year, I set out to binge the series in audio and loved it. What I didn't get to see from Relentless, Refuge and Rogue, I got in Warrior. Not to retell the trilogy, but the Relentless series focused on Sara and her evolving and developing into this strong character who learns about her identity. Early on, she happens to meet Nikolas and both (backstory) their lives change almost instantly. Because Warrior is in Nikolas’s POV, I was able to grasp delve deeper and connect more with his personality. In the series, we only knew Nikolas as protector and at times, overbearing alpha. However in Warrior, we feel his vulnerability and the internal conflicts he has within himself, what he has always known his life and sole purpose to be, and of what is now to come...he hopes. There will be people who will try to compare Warrior with the Trilogy and find Nikolas lacking something. He isn't. The idea that Lynch brings is that Warrior, is in fact HIS POV. The purpose of a POV is to get the inside scoop on what that character was facing emotionally, internally and externally. Nikolas was never a flat character, and in Warrior you get all sides of him; strong, loyal, faithful, nervous, anxious, furious, and lover. The line that describes Warrior and made my love for Nikolas greater was this, “In that moment, I was undone by her and remade into a new man. A warrior still, but a mate and a lover first. And I felt complete.” Warrior was wonderfully told and together all four books are a must for your collection.

    Different perspective

First off I absolutely loved this series , secondly I loved this book being from Nikolas ' perspective. Women tend to be sensual and hot headed and the way this was written as a man with those same traits coupled with a males protective edge , thoughts, and desire made for a well rounded read.

Oh my god I love this book, the whole series actually. I can never get enough retreads. Karen Lynch is an absolutely wonderful, fantabulous author.
