  • Good easy read

This was a good easy read and is just a perfect way to spend a lazy couple of hours. It is a good well written small town romance. it had good characters and the storyline was good and realistic this is the first book in the series and I will definitely be checking out more in the future.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Great Story

There were a lot of characters in the story, but they were easy to keep track of because they were so well done and so distinct. Typical small-town fare––everyone is in everyone else's business. And, it seems everyone had an agenda. This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from Booksprout.

  • A story of healing and redemption

A story of healing and redemption, Welcome Home is a gentle love story that touches the heart. Abigail is the victim of careless words that she took to heart and as a result, she resolves to live life on her own terms, and never be a burden to any other person. Lured into returning home to sort out her father's house after his death, Abigail realises that some things never change and she determines to do the necessary and then hightail back to the city, where she has friends that love and understand her. Kent has made an agreement with Abigail's brother, Zach, to do his part in making sure she comes home and stays home..... that is if they are to fulfill the terms of their father's bequest. Kent has had his heart broken, but when Abigail comes into his store, he finds he is not at all immune to her. Zach's gauche attitude and unfortunate word choice cause storm clouds to gather once more, and when the unspoken truce is broken, truths are revealed and the healing in all their lives can start. This is a gentle love story with realistic characters and real-life problems that need to be resolved. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
