    Science Gone Haywire

An absolutely awesome book, that brings a smile to every readers' face. Bizarre hypothetical situations are put to the test and explained in a very clever, accessible, and humorous way. The many, many drawings help to illustrate the idea and add some black humor. My 9- and 12-year old kids love it, too, and it really sparked their love for science, thinking of new situations themselves and posting them to the What if? website. One of the few books that I'll definitely read time and time again.

Everything i hoped it would be

I think there is the possibility that Randall Monroe lives inside my brain and reads my thoughts. If you ever had a ridiculous question and wondered what the answer might be, there is a good chance the answer is in this book.

    Amusing

Each section is humorous and the stick figure characters to help explain the answers are adorable. I found it very interesting and it's a must read in eBook form because there is a lot of links and info you definitely would want to look up while reading.

Curiosity killed more than the cat

If you took Bill Bryson's enthusiasm for research and applied it to the most inane but captivating veins of inquiry mixed with endless tangents you might begin to understand what this book is about. However, only Muroe's sense of humour (citation needed) and attention to detail (citation needed) could elevate this to a true masterpiece.
