Amazing, great and wonderful all wrapped into one

WOW, Why did this story ever have to end? I felt like I need more Bull and Little Bee by the end. I was craving them throughout the entire story, every page I just felt like I couldn't get enough. This author once again has blown me away with her words, she can really get the story across to any reader. It's a kinda fast pace read and I would so recommend you read the other stories in the series as it makes much more sense that way. The characters don't really change in fact they grow, well all but Anahi she's a newbie and one that is easy to fall in love with, her strength is out of this world great. She makes one hell of a match for Bull. Bull is another story reading about the Prez and his demons are very different normally you hear about him being strong or bullheaded but not this Bull he's way different, a side of him that is so worth reading about over and over. I so could sit here and just talk and talk about this story as it's so fresh in my mind but I'm not going to. MUST READ over and over again. The ending really blows your mind, hell the middle, start all of it really does. Just grab it and read it. I'm dead serious. ***I received this ARC for free in exchange of my honest thoughts and opinions***

Review: The Devil's Dust 5: What Might Kill Us

What Might Kill Us by M.N. Forgy is the fifth full-length book in her Devil's Dust series. It CAN be read as a standalone but this series is better enjoyed when read in order as part of the series, and even better when you include the spin-off series Sin City Outlaws. Told in dual POV this is the story of Bull and Anahi, better known as Little Bee. M.N. Forgy does not hold back in her stories. There isn't ever any gratuitous violence and heartache but it's never an easy and happy journey either. We are reacquainted with Bull as he is spiraling into alcoholism still mourning the loss of Babs. His encounter with a beautiful mexican girl on the run from some gang members startles him out of his stupor, too late to save her in that moment but the impression she made on his soul in that brief meeting is lasting. When we meet Anahi it's when she is under the tyrannical rule and imprisonment by her uncle. She refuses to acquiesce to his demands and eventually he forces her hand into being his drug mule. This is how she winds up in the United States and fleeing into Devil's Dust territory. The fallout from Bull and Anahi's brief encounter keeps growing and their fated attraction is definitely one of my favorites. Everything about them is so unlikely and yet so perfect. A fabulous read - M.N. Forgy is definitely on my must-read author list!
